I am a Ph.D. student in Prof. Taylor Sparks group, Materials Science & Engineering Department at the University of Utah, specializing in materials informatics and generative AI for materials discovery. My research focuses on developing generative frameworks for text-conditioned crystal structure generation, incorporating materials science objective alignment using reinforcement learning, developing AI agent-based workflows for property-guided materials discovery, ML workflows to accelerate alloy design, and AI tools for sustainable materials supply chain analysis.
Previously, I worked as a research scientist at the national laboratory (BARC, India), focusing on energy materials development and contributed to industry research projects during my internship at Apple, Inc.
